This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to add these techniques to their existing skills. Fold forming was invented by Charles Lewton-Brain and is a completely new way of forming metal with basic tools and lets you produce 3D shapes as well as surface textures and decoration. Fold forming can be chunky or delicate, we will be making a number of pieces in silver and copper and projects include earrings, bangles and pendants. The 3 day workshop will enable you to explore the techniques in more detail or cover more general jewellery making skills.

Riveting is a great way of joining metal withour soldering, we will be working in silver and copper and you will learn how to make your own fine silver nail head rivets to join bangles and rings as well as wire riveting multi layers for pendants and earrings.
